The notes that got you through are worth a share of ₦1,000,000.
Every course you survived, someone is starting today. Share the past questions, lecture notes and summaries that got you there — a reviewer checks each one, and over 60 days ArewaUniHub pays ₦1,000,000 across 99 students.
No entry fee, ever. Open to every registered student on the platform.

Five steps, and you are competing
You are not asked to make anything new. Almost every student already has a folder of past questions and lecture notes on their phone — the Challenge pays you for sharing it with the students coming up behind you.
- 1
Create your free account
Sign up with your email, confirm it, and finish onboarding by telling us your university, faculty and department. That is the whole entry requirement — there is no fee and no application.
- 2
Accept the Official Rules
Open the Challenge page inside ArewaUniHub and agree to the rules. Your entry is recorded against the version you agreed to, so nothing can be changed on you later.
- 3
Upload materials from your own courses
Past questions, lecture notes, summaries, slides, handouts. Tag each one to its course and topic so other students can actually find it — and so it earns the tagging bonus.
- 4
A moderator reviews it
Every upload is checked by a human before it scores. Points land the moment yours is approved — nothing is awarded automatically.
- 5
Climb the table
Watch your Scholar Points, your rank nationally and at your own university, and how far you are from the cash threshold. Everything updates as approvals come through.
What each upload is worth
Scholar Points, or SP, are the Challenge currency. Points are awarded only after a moderator approves the upload — nothing scores while it is still in the queue, and a rejected upload scores nothing at all.
- Summary or study guide 7 SP
- Lecture note 5 SP
- Past question 5 SP
- Copyright-free textbook 5 SP
- Slides, handouts, other 5 SP
- Tagging that upload to a topic — on top of the rate above +1 SP
- A student you invited gets their first upload approved — up to 10 +5 SP
The only bar that matters
150 SP
Reach it and you are in the running for a cash prize. It is a fixed target, not a position — it does not move when somebody else uploads. That is roughly 25 approved, topic-tagged uploads.
One upload, one ceiling
However many bonuses apply, a single resource can never earn more than 11 SP in total. Splitting one document into many thin files to farm points is detected and does not work.
₦1,000,000, already committed
Paid in naira to 99 students by bank transfer after the results are confirmed. This money is set aside before the Challenge opens — it does not depend on how many people enter.
- 1
1st place
₦150,000
- 2
2nd place
₦100,000
- 3
3rd place
₦65,000
- 4th – 10th place (each) ₦20,000
- 11th – 30th place (each) ₦10,000
- 31st – 99th place (each) ₦5,000
Cash prizes are awarded to the highest-ranked contributors who reach 150 SP. If nobody reaches a place, that prize is redistributed among the contributors who did qualify rather than kept back.
Every qualifying contributor also gets
- Founding Scholar badge
- Profile feature
- Platform perks
The pool can grow
₦1,000,000 is the floor, not the ceiling. If sponsorship lands during the Challenge, the increase goes two ways: the existing places get bigger, and more students get paid. Any increase is announced publicly, with its own terms, before it takes effect — and it can only ever add to what is already promised here.
Read this before you upload anything
This is a summary. The Official Rules (version 1.6) are the document that governs the Challenge, and they win wherever this page is shorter or less precise. You will be asked to accept them before you can enter.
You can enter if…
- You hold one ArewaUniHub account, registered in your own name and created by you.
- You have verified your email address and finished onboarding.
- You are 18 or over — or 16 to 17 with a parent or guardian’s consent.
- You are lawfully resident in Nigeria.
- You have opened the Challenge page in the app and accepted the Official Rules.
Who cannot win cash
- Staff, moderators, founders and anyone involved in running the Challenge may contribute, but cannot receive a cash prize.
- Second or shared accounts. One person, one account — accounts controlled by the same person may be disqualified.
- Anyone who has not accepted the Rules. Uploading and appearing on the leaderboard does not enter you.
What you may upload
You must own the material, or have a clear legal right to share it.
- Your own lecture notes, summaries and study guides.
- Past questions that have been publicly released.
- Slides and handouts you have a clear right to share.
- Textbooks that are genuinely copyright-free or openly licensed.
What you must never upload
Any of these can get a contribution rejected, and repeated breaches can disqualify you.
- Copyrighted textbooks or published works you have no right to distribute.
- Examination material that has not been publicly released, marking schemes, or question banks you are prohibited from sharing.
- Confidential institutional material.
- Another person’s personal data — names, matriculation numbers, results, photographs or contact details.
- Material substantially generated by AI and presented as your own.
- Copied, plagiarised or lightly paraphrased work.
- Duplicates, or material substantially similar to what is already on the platform.
- Unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing or discriminatory material.
- Files whose contents differ materially from what they claim to be.
Fair play
The Challenge is measuring useful material shared with other students, not volume. These are the patterns that are detected and acted on:
- One document split into many thin files to multiply point awards. Fragmentation is detected, and related uploads may be scored as a single contribution.
- Bulk filler, padded or repetitive uploads. A contribution can be rejected for insufficient educational value alone.
- Re-uploading the same file after deleting it. Points are reversed on deletion and the file remains recognised.
- Invented or self-referral chains. Referral points are paid only when a genuinely new student’s first upload is approved.
Every prize winner is verified before payment, including confirmation of identity and student status. Decisions on eligibility, scoring and disqualification are made by ArewaUniHub and are final, as set out in the Official Rules.
Everything students ask first
Still unsure? Read the Official Rules or email support@arewaunihub.com .
Does it cost anything to enter?
No. There is no entry fee and no purchase of any kind. An ArewaUniHub account is free, and the Challenge is free to enter.
Do I need to be at a particular university?
No. Any student at a Nigerian university can take part. If your university is not on the platform yet, you can still sign up — tell us and we will add it.
I already have an ArewaUniHub account. Do I need a new one?
No, and you must not create one. Use your existing account: open the Challenge page in the app and accept the Official Rules to enter. One person, one account.
Do points I earned before the Challenge count?
No. Only contributions approved between Monday, 14 September 2026 and Thursday, 12 November 2026 count toward the Challenge. Your platform points carry on as normal, separately.
How long does approval take?
A human moderator reviews every upload, and points land the moment yours is approved. Nothing is awarded automatically.
What happens if my upload is rejected?
You are told why. It earns nothing, and it does not count against you — you are free to fix the problem and upload again, as long as the material itself is allowed.
Can I win if I do not reach the qualifying threshold?
Not a cash prize. 150 SP is the bar for cash. Everything you contribute still counts toward your platform standing, your profile and your access to the library.
How do I get paid?
By bank transfer, in naira, after the results are confirmed. Winners are verified first — including identity and student status — and payment details are collected privately at that point. ArewaUniHub will never ask for your bank details, password or a fee in order to enter.
How does the referral bonus work?
Share your invite link from the Challenge page. When someone who signs up through it gets their first upload approved, you earn 5 SP — for up to 10 students. Signups alone earn nothing, so inviting people who will actually contribute is the only thing that pays.
Could the prize pool change?
It can only go up. ₦1,000,000 is committed before the Challenge opens and does not depend on how many people enter. If sponsorship is confirmed during the Challenge, both the size of the prizes and the number of students paid increase, announced publicly with their own terms.
It has started. You can still win.
Every approved upload from today counts the same as one from day one. The qualifying threshold is a fixed bar, not a race against the people already on the board.
₦1,000,000 committed. No entry fee. No purchase. ArewaUniHub will never ask you to pay to enter or to be paid.
